On May 23rd, 2024, the NEOREX Pods, learning pods on the 3rd floor of the central library, were officially opened as part of an agreement between ÐßÐßÊÓƵ and Neorex, a Nagoya-based IT company.
The five-year naming rights agreement, the sixth such agreement signed at ÐßÐßÊÓƵ and the second in the Central Library, is part of ÐßÐßÊÓƵ’s naming rights initiative, which aims to raise money for research and education through sponsorship from the private sector. Neorex has previously donated IT-related reading resources to the library and research notebooks to ÐßÐßÊÓƵ researchers, and taken on ÐßÐßÊÓƵ graduates as employees.

"I hope that these facilities will serve as a space for valuable conversations and debates, and the creation of new ideas," said Kenji Komai, CEO of Neorex. He was joined by ÐßÐßÊÓƵ representatives for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the 23rd.
The NEOREX Pods are open to all members of the ÐßÐßÊÓƵ community. Please feel free to make use of them at any time!
